The Nox entertainment venue coming to Mesa

Transforming the Southeast Valley: The Nox Brings Vibrant Entertainment to Mesa

In a growing region of the Valley with limited nightlife options, a new live music and entertainment venue is poised to hit the right note. The Bongiorno family, known for founding the Arizona home furniture store chain Potato Barn, is set to bring The Nox to southeast Mesa, just north of the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. Streamline Cos., a Mesa-based group of three vertically integrated companies, will oversee the development and construction of this highly anticipated project.

Revitalizing the Entertainment Landscape in the Southeast Valley

Addressing the Entertainment Void

The southeast Valley has long been an "entertainment desert," as described by David Hrizak, CEO of Streamline Cos. Residents have had to travel upwards of 30 to 35 miles to attend concerts and other live events. The Nox aims to change that, providing a much-needed entertainment hub for the local community.

Versatile Event Hosting Capabilities

The Nox is designed to be a multi-event center, capable of hosting a wide range of events. In addition to live music and comedy shows, the venue will have the ability to accommodate intimate corporate events, where the seating can be removed to make way for dining tables and dance floors. The venue's flexible layout also allows it to host weddings and other special occasions.

Streamlining the Development Process

Streamline Cos., the group overseeing the project, is well-equipped to handle the development and construction of The Nox. As a vertically integrated company, Streamline can efficiently manage the entire process, from planning and design to execution and completion. This streamlined approach is expected to expedite the project's timeline, with plans submitted earlier this week and a targeted groundbreaking in mid-2025.

Anticipated Timeline and Opening

The review process for The Nox is expected to be completed by January, paving the way for groundbreaking sometime in mid-2025. Construction is anticipated to take between 18 and 24 months, with the venue slated to open its doors in 2027. This timeline aligns with the growing demand for entertainment options in the southeast Valley, positioning The Nox as a highly anticipated addition to the local entertainment landscape.

Addressing the Need for Diverse Entertainment

The Nox's arrival in southeast Mesa comes at a crucial time, as the region has long been underserved in terms of live music, comedy, and other entertainment options. By providing a versatile event space, The Nox aims to attract a wide range of performers and events, catering to the diverse interests and preferences of the local community. This influx of entertainment options is expected to enhance the quality of life for residents and draw visitors from the surrounding areas.

Fostering Community Engagement and Economic Growth

The Nox's impact extends beyond just entertainment. As a new development in the southeast Valley, the venue is poised to contribute to the region's economic growth, creating job opportunities and attracting additional investment. Moreover, the venue's ability to host a variety of events, from concerts to corporate gatherings, will foster community engagement and strengthen the social fabric of the area.

Elevating the Southeast Valley's Entertainment Landscape

The Nox represents a significant step forward in the evolution of the southeast Valley's entertainment landscape. By providing a state-of-the-art venue that can accommodate a diverse range of events, the project aims to transform the region into a vibrant hub for live music, comedy, and other forms of entertainment. As the development process unfolds, the local community eagerly anticipates the arrival of this much-needed addition to the area's cultural and social offerings.
